01Overview
This privacy policy explains how Kaç Gün Oldu? (“the App”) handles information. The App is a fully offline tool for keeping track of when you last did something.
You don't need to create an account, sign in or provide any personal information. The App makes no network connections.
02Data We Collect
No personal data is collected. In particular:
- No identity information such as name, email address or phone number
- No location, contacts, photos, calendar, microphone or camera data
- Your cards and record dates are never sent to the developer or anyone else
- No advertising ID, analytics or crash reports of any kind
03What Is Stored On Your Device
What you enter is stored only on your own device, in the protected storage area the operating system gives the App. Other apps on your device cannot access it:
- The cards you create: name, icon, the frequency you choose, your reminder preference and time, and whether a card is archived
- The dates you mark on each card and any notes you write on them
- Optionally, a name and username (shown only on the profile screen)
- Your preferences: colour theme, card layout (grid or list), reminder time
Nobody, including the developer, can access this information.
04Backups
The App does not back anything up to any cloud by itself. However, if your operating system's own backup is on (Google account backup on Android; iCloud and computer backups on iOS), the App's data may be included in it. That backup is managed by Google or Apple under your account and is not accessible to the developer.
You can also use Settings → Yedeği panoya kopyala to copy your data as text, and Panodaki yedeği geri yükle to import it on another device. That backup is unencrypted plain text; where you paste it is up to you.
05Clipboard
The App accesses the clipboard only when you tap “copy backup”, “restore backup” or “add a shared card”. It never reads your clipboard at any other time. Some versions of Android and iOS notify you when an app accesses the clipboard; that is expected.
06Sharing And Exporting
When you send a card with Share, the card's name, icon, frequency, dates and notes are written into a link and sent with the app you pick in your phone's share menu. Settings → CSV olarak dışa aktar hands all your records to the same menu as a file. In both cases the data never passes through a server of ours; you choose where it goes and to whom, and from then on it is subject to the rules of the app you chose.
When you add a card someone sent you, a copy of it is saved on your device only. Cards are not synced afterwards.
07Reminders
When you turn on “Bana hatırlat” for a card, a notification is shown at your chosen time when the card is due. Notifications are scheduled entirely on your device: the time and text are handed to the operating system's own notification service and are never sent to any server. The App uses no push infrastructure and creates no notification tokens.
The notification shows the card's name, so it may be readable on the lock screen. You may prefer to leave reminders off for a sensitive card name.
Notifications need the operating system's permission. It is requested when you turn on your first reminder, not when you first open the App, and you can withdraw it any time in your phone's settings; if you don't grant it, the rest of the App works as usual. On Android, reminders are scheduled without needing the exact-alarm permission, so a notification may arrive a few minutes after its target time.
08Third-Party Services
The App contains no ad network, analytics tool, crash reporter, social media component or any third-party software development kit (SDK) that collects user data. The typefaces used are bundled inside the App; nothing is downloaded.
The store you download the App from (Google Play or the Apple App Store) may process information about the download under its own privacy policy; that is outside the App.
09Permissions
The App does not ask for camera, microphone, location, contacts, calendar or photos permission, and does not use the internet permission.
- Notifications: requested only when you set up a reminder
- Run at startup (Android): so scheduled reminders can be set up again after the phone restarts
- Vibration (Android): when a notification arrives
10Deleting Your Data
All of your data is under your control. You can delete cards and records one by one in the App, or remove everything at once with Settings → Bütün kartları sil. Uninstalling the App also deletes all of its local data.
Because the developer holds no data about you, there is no need to send a deletion request. If your operating system's cloud backup is on, the copy in that backup can be deleted separately from your Google or Apple account.
11Security
Your data is protected by the operating system's app sandbox. The App does not additionally encrypt it; security depends on your device's screen lock and encryption settings. We recommend using a screen lock.
12Children's Privacy
The App is not marketed to children. It collects personal data from no one, children included.
13Your Legal Rights
Under Turkish KVKK (Law No. 6698), the GDPR and similar data protection laws you have rights of access, correction, deletion and objection. Since the developer does not process your personal data, there is no data to act on; everything is on your device and entirely under your control.
14Changes To This Policy
If this policy is updated, the current text is published with the App's new version and on this page, and the date above changes. A material change to our data practices will be stated in the release notes.
